SIV Ticino 3

1. JUNE – 4. JUNE 2024 / CHF 890

An SIV course at the foot of Monte Generoso in the heart of sunny Ticino. Four days of intensive safety training and flying that will make you a better pilot in all conditions. A milestone in your paragliding career.

WHY DO AN SIV?

  • Intensive training under professional guidance
  • Feel your wing better
  • Learn to control your wing in extreme situations
  • Recognise and extend your personal limits
  • Perfect fast descent manoeuvres like deep spirals
  • Throw your reserve over water

An SIV gives you the chance to improve your overall glider handling, responsive to extreme events and an active approach to safety, within a few flights. After the safety training you will know your own limits and the limits of your equipment better, so you can fly safer. Your comfort zone will be bigger when flying normally and you can enjoy your flying more.

Programme

The programme always depends on your level and desires: You decide what you want to practice and are guided step by step to your goal. The instructor from paraworld.ch leads you to individual success.

The campsite in Melano will be our flight base for 4 days: We camp, lodge and land directly at the Lago di Lugano. Monte Generoso, which rises directly above it, offers 1700m height difference and a generous manoeuvre box. In the evening, we eat together in the pizzeria on the campsit and do video analysis over a glass of Merlot.
