Emberger Alm, above Greifenburg in Carinthia, is one of the most famous cross-country flying areas in Austria, if not in Europe. The week in Carinthia is entirely dedicated to cross-country flying. In one of the most versatile and reliable flying areas in the Alps, we devote ourselves to developing this skill under Dominic's expert guidance and supervision:

The flying arena around Greifenburg is characterised by ideally aligned east-west valleys, which offer easy landings. Statistically Carinthia also offers very good and dependable weather. Greifenburg is located on the southern side of the Alps, but still within the Alps. The valley is therefore well protected against humid air from both north and south. The paragliding trip is suitable for the beginner as well as for advanced cross-country pilots who want to achieve flights beyond the 100km mark.
