Flying the Soca Valley
Program
The Soca Valley in Slovenia is undoubtedly one of the finest and most reliable thermal flying areas of the Southern Alps. We fly on the world famous mountain Stol near Kobarid and from Kobala near Tolmin. Our flights mainly follow along the emerald green Soca, a enchanted valley, created over millions of years ago for your flying pleasure. In addition, we will visit the flying area of Lijak which boasts miles of soaring ridges.
For leisure pilots Slovenia offers excellent opportunities for extended flights in strong thermals. For ambitious participants there are various ways to achieve a 100 km distance in a manageable environment.
